So I used to be a Librarian
and a teacher, and a groundwater treatment plant operator, and a VP of a Phila. Real Estate entity, etc....... lol... but always a child advocate.
Not that the aforementioned should denote that I can't hold down a job... I just love tooo many things in life.
As a Youth Services Librarian, I remember ordering gobs of Read Campaign material and trying to get the teens, tweens, and little people hyped to read.
I am so happy to see that your face has been officially added to the plethora of posters to choose from. I am going to request that my local library hang your face in the place!
Blessed
Hi Common,
I have a friend that is very close to my heart. He is a young dude that has shown how a man should be a father. He claimed a child from birth that was not his. Shortly after he had a biological daughter. Anyway although he is not with the mother he is an amazing father and teacher. Because of his tremendous detication to the emotional and educational growth of his children I bought him for Christmas your children books. Although his children are only 3 and 19 months and may not be able to read the books, the books/story will be a great one for him to read to them at night. I would love to get these books signed with a personal message to the kids. I know this request is a long shot and not even sure if you would get this message but praying that it does because it would be a great gift to a great father. If it is not at all possible, I undersand and please keep doing what you do. "We" are all the better because of it.
Much Luv Common!
