Common just wrapped up action film "Wanted" alongside Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy.  He takes on the role of the Gunsmith, an assassin with an extensive knowledge of firearms who is chosen to help train McAvoy's character into a powerful hit man.

Synopsis: A young man finds out his long lost father is an assassin. And when his father is murdered, the son is recruited into his father's old organization and trained by a man named Sloan to follow in his dad's footsteps.

Common will appear in "Street Kings" this April, which also stars Keanu Reeves and Oscar and Golden Globe Winner Forest Whitaker.  Common will play a heroin dealer who is posing as an undercover cop.

Synopsis: Tom Ludlow is a veteran LAPD cop who finds life difficult to navigate after the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer, he is forced to go up against the cop culture he's been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him.
