The first time I heard Common was like a breath of fresh air. The voice, the beat, the sampling, the lyrics (big time)all work beautifully. I love his choice of content and lyrics for songs. From Chi-City "So much raps about rims"...that says it all. My girlfriend says that I am obsessed with Common now! Keep cranking out beautiful music Common, and you need to do more Chicago shows! Maybe I'll catch ya on the Blue Line someday! Quote Report
